'Whereever they dare - .... ou - sur la Terre' - Poesie de Fontane ...
From early hours - long before day break we ventured to the bush, three of us, mostly, sometimes four. We were colleagues. Colleagues and friends; in the bush one only trusts a friend.
Long nights and dinners , parties before, we slept hardly a few hours, if any at all. The anticipation of the bush would roll your blood in your veins. Nothing can compare to the early morning of the real bush - hunting for life - for fresh, pure, oxygen rich air, sometimes mixed with early moist air of a passed rainstorm.
For in the bush, rain is common, and a welcome drop in temperature a relieve for local people. Sleeping in their narrow, one room, elephant grass thatched roof huts, the day's heat is almost unbearable. On few occasions did I experience the heat, when traveling on the continent overland, stuck in some forsaken place. |http://www.articlesbase.com/exotic-locations-articles/mandiana-night-in-fear-5800520.html | and :

For our business took us to the end of civilization, and we were the 'Obuomomfo' , the real hunters. Now, many will look at this word with skepticism, understandably so. I do not know a single hunter who goes to the bush - and comes back empty handed. Especially the ' Killer instinct man ' : he was the greatest Obuomomfo of them all.
